Aglar's Center positioning calibration square
thingiverse
Hello makers, I created this square calibration test for two individuals who reported their prints were not centered on the bed. It is a square with dimensions 40mm by 40mm, featuring a cross with a width of 0.5mm and height of 0.5mm. To use it, simply load the STL file into your slicer – usually, it will be automatically placed at the center of your build plate. Do not move it! Slice and print it as usual. It takes about five minutes to heat up your printer and an additional minute to create the square. Once printing is complete, use a ruler or any available tool to verify the spacing between edges (or from the edges to the center). You can then fine-tune firmware settings and slicer parameters if needed. I am providing the FreeCAD 0.18 original file (.FCStd) for those who wish to customize this square. Have good prints!
