This is an abstract sculpture shaped like a vessel with a cityscape on its forward section. The creator explains its concept: "Agia Napa, The City Vessel" represents my reflection on the ideas I aim to convey through my work. I strive to create a small monument for every city that warmly receives me, showcasing their distinct traits, cultural heritage, and rich history. From a formal standpoint, this piece is another of my boat-shaped sculptures, but this time it bears a transformed or urbanized aspect, engaging in a play of volumes and ideas that also allude to the philosophy of lifelong exploration and life-changing experiences. The curved base can signify instability yet also convey sensitivity, movement, and stability. A central volume of architectural elements rises from the base, despite being set on an incline, their vertical position is maintained regardless of the difficulty posed by the slope. This array of forms, contents, lights, and concepts collectively create a simple monument to the power of time and endurance.
