Agent Carter Badge

The Strategic Scientific Reserve was launched in 1940 as a powerful countermeasure against the Nazi war machine and HYDRA. Established by executive order from President Roosevelt himself, the S.S.R brought together the most brilliant minds of the Allies to create groundbreaking scientific innovations. Their trailblazing achievements include the development of the super soldier project that produced Captain America, a hero who would become an iconic symbol of Allied resistance. Ultimately, the organization was merged with SHIELD. -=Design=- This pin is based on the badge worn by Agent Carter in several Marvel movies and comics set during WWII, recreated using Blender for a more detailed design. The pin has been modified to include a small round backing that can be easily attached to clothing or accessories. -=Printing Instructions=- Print this design in any suitable material, as supports are not required. For a sturdy finish, use approximately 20% infill density. -=Finishing=- My printed copy was made from ABS plastic and then smoothed using hot acetone to create a sleek surface. Next, I primed the pin black and painted it gold with acrylic paint for a vibrant look. To add depth, I applied a thick layer of brown paint to fill in the recesses, followed by a light dry brushing of additional gold paint on top. Finally, I sealed the badge with a high-gloss coating and attached a small round pin back using super glue.
