Age of Industry - Player Board & Player Tokens

This is a player board for the board game "Age of Industry" by Martin Wallace from Treefrog Games. Infill: 20 ~ 25% Support: No Used Material: PLA Grey TinderCad File: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fUjEN35heoR?sharecode=n6pBB4BHyXhva501XctgDbzyKhoG_JOUBYxVY-SzEFg . PPT-Printout File: Included ------ Design: I found the Papersheets too fragile and big for the Informations on it. However I really liked the idea to integrate the rules on the player board. So I started my very first player board with the limitations of my printing plate (Anycubic I3 Mega S) 220x220mm and a good arrangement of the tiles. I didnt expected that I had to make so many iterations for this (I think I did 8-10 versions). However it was a cool project to learn more about designing processes and usability. What I did was a lot of re-arrangement until I chose the design of the Brass playerboard. Lowest LvL at the bottom to highest at the top. Next on was the size of openings to get the tiles out. What I did was 1mm buffer around the tiles so they are movable a litle bit. Plus I did new ground with X instead of completely filled or just the Infill design. Luckily the XX creates a square that helps to get under the tiles and it also saves a lot of material. I Added also a Title and a locomotive just theme wise. If there is a wish to remove these let me know! Then there was the size of the printouts. Big enough to read small enough to fit everything on it. I chose a System with colors and an arrow for the costs / benefits which I find very intuetive. Light yellow is freely placeable and orange yellow is limited. Printouts: The Printouts for the round summary, playeractions and costs and income I did with Powerpoint (MS Office) and in english and german version. For the correct print size you have to select before printing that the size is 1:1 from the page, otherwise PPT will rezise it smaller. After printing it out I laminated it so the glue wont affect the paper. However since the cutouts are so small, it is possible after a lot of time passed that the layers get loose from the foil (the drawback of laminating). The playerboards fit perfectly into the game box and it closes like normal. The only thing I did to prevent a chaos after every transport is a plastic bag and some rubber bands around it. I will add later Tokens for the players like in the new Brass Versions with different Pictures of famous people of their time in the industrial revolution and age. If you want to change something feel free to do it. I would like to see your modifications and why (for learning purposes). BRs Tom
