Agar plate sectoring stencil/template

Agar plate sectoring stencil/template

thingiverse

Place an agar plate under a printing device and run a stylus through the grooves to cleanly divide the plate into sections. This method is ideal for counting colonies and streaking multiple samples on the same plate. Instructions: Prepare your printing equipment without support or guidance. A raft may be added, if necessary. To achieve optimal results, print a test sample first and scale up to ensure minimal clearance around the agar plates you plan to use. Failure to do so may result in deformation when applying pressure, making it difficult to draw precise lines with a stylus. Inspiration for this project came from TekLabs' "Print My Lab Results" initiative, which earned first place in the novel gadget category. However, I was unable to find the necessary STL files, so I recreated the design myself.
