THIS IS A DESIGN IN PROGRESS I chose to create a new case for the GoPro Hero. Specifically a new form factor for strapping onto mini quads for FPV RACING. http://shop.gopro.com/cameras/hero/CHDHA-301.html The AG GoPro RACER case transplants the electronics of a GoPro Hero into an exciting new design. The lens is angled up for capturing all the fast speed action of a multirotor's high-speed movements. The LCD screen is shielded at the bottom of the case where it rests on a bed of foam. Indents are created for velcro straps helping secure the GoPro and prevent ejection during a crash. A memory card slot is protected by a removable panel offering added durability. UPDATE Jan 7th, 2016 This is the first prototype that successfully fits together with the GoPro fully functional. Ready for an upcoming test flight soon. Future revisions will focus on refining a better front panel fit, Deciding on the final screw sizes and proper holes/threads, Enhancing lens protection.
