AFX Aurora Slot Car Controller Trigger
thingiverse
The wires connecting the controller tend to snap right where they meet the housing. Unfortunately, separating the housing can damage it beyond repair. I designed a new housing that reuses all the internal components from the old controller. I discovered that printing with PLA is not strong enough but PETG works effectively. There are five holes for M3x12 bolts to join the two halves together securely. In my testing, using only three of these bolts seems sufficient. A single M2x12 bolt passes through the trigger pivot point. The wire gauge used is 22 AWG.
