Afterthought Mendel Foot
thingiverse
Having my Sells Mendel elevated on wood blocks for two years, I eventually took time to create feet for it. My goal was to design a part that could easily snap in place without requiring additional hardware. Initially, I pondered replacing the vertices with modern one-piece designs; however, this idea dissipated swiftly as I realized the effort required. Instead, I recommend printing at least four feet and attaching them to the lower threaded rods parallel to the X-axis. For added security, you can also stick on some rubber pads to prevent slipping.
