I specially designed a system for CATWALK cat traps. The major flaw in these hatches is the joints that come loose. So, I made an adjustment, allowing you to insert a roller shutter type seal into the grooves of this part of the hatch. This seal can be recovered when assembling a roller shutter, or it can be obtained at some stores for only 1€ - you'll need about 30cm of maximum seal. Important: You must have a seal with a rigid base. This model is not designed for glued joints!!!! It took me several weeks to create a design that initially clips onto the trapdoor directly outside the door, but in case cats repeatedly passing through causes the seal holder to jump, there's also a 5mm thread to hold the seal holder more firmly on the hatch (in this case you'll need to drill the transparent hatch at the places where the 4 threads are placed). I took pictures of the type of seal needed and some clips that attach to the cat flap (I didn't need to use screws yet, apparently it resists cat-type cannonballs..... All rights reserved.
