"Whisper Down The Lane," an art project by Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, is connected to the "The Obstinate Object: Contemporary New Zealand Sculpture" exhibition at City Gallery Wellington (Feb 24 – June 10, 2012). During the show, Ant Pelosi will create digital 3D models of select sculptures for free download on Thingiverse under a Creative Commons BY-SA-NC License. Physical works can be bought through an on-demand manufacturing system using technology like RepRap 3D printers and laser cutting in New Zealand. The project starts with one piece, and new ones are added throughout the exhibition. Follow @hollowaysmith on Twitter or join the mailing list for updates.
