Bronwyn Holloway-Smith develops this object as part of her art project "Whisper Down The Lane", currently being produced in collaboration with the exhibition "The Obstinate Object: Contemporary New Zealand Sculpture" at City Gallery Wellington, New Zealand (February 24 - June 10, 2012). In conjunction with this event, Ant Pelosi works on creating digital 3D models of selected works from the exhibit. These files are released for free download on Thingiverse under a Creative Commons BY-SA-NC License.The artworks in this series are also available to purchase through a manufacturing system that allows orders to be made at will. Using fabrication technology based out of New Zealand, including an Open Source RepRap 3D printer designed by Vik Olliver, the models and actual pieces will be produced.
