The culmination of a two-part process, I've crafted the final model of a teapot thrown in clay from a scan. Removing all fingerprints and hand marks from the original scan, I've exported it for printing. My goal is to pay homage to Martin Newell's highly mathematical abstract model while exposing the information loss inherent in 3D scanning and modeling software.
