"Whisper Down The Lane," an art project by Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, is being showcased during "The Obstinate Object: Contemporary New Zealand Sculpture" exhibition at City Gallery Wellington from 24 February to 10 June 2012. In collaboration with designers Ant Pelosi and Nick Graham, digital 3D models of selected works will be created and available for free download under a Creative Commons BY-SA-NC License on Thingiverse. The physical pieces are also purchasable through a manufacture-on-demand system using Open Source RepRap 3D printers in New Zealand. The project begins with one piece, growing as new works are completed and released throughout the exhibition. Follow @hollowaysmith on Twitter or join the mailing list for updates. As of 16 August 2013, working files for the arm, body, hood, and layout have been uploaded in a .tgz folder for easy access.
