After Cotán

This set of 3D scans were created after the painting Still Life with Quince, Cabbage, Melon, and Cucumber (1602) by the Spanish artist Juan Sánchez Cotán (1560-1627). The scans for the cabbage and quince (pear in this case) were taken separately from the melon and cucumber which where scanned together on the table. I then placed them together in Maya and stretched the edges of the scan to fill the missing parts (the side frames) This scan was created using photogrammetry, many photos taken of the objects with an iPhone X were processed in Agisoft Metashape to generate the 3D models. The orginal painting can be found in the San Diego Museum of Art
