sketchfab

Photogrammetrically scanned African tribal mask from Senegal featuring two decorative cowrie shells that were used for centuries as money in Subsaharan West Africa. The ceremonial mask makes a perfect mysterious, exotic decoration in virtual reality, a magical shaman object with special powers, a secret treasure found in a chest, or a scary face staring at you in a dark horror scene. The scan includes high and low poly meshes: Subdivision level 0 has 2791 verts / 4934 tris. Subdivision level 1 has 1753 verts / 2828 tris. Subdivision level 2 has 1125 verts / 1754 tris. Included are Diffuse and Normal textures, with a size of 4096 x 4096 px, optimized for UV maps. The same texture fits all subdivision levels. The scan is available in various formats: FBX (recommended) OBJ 3DS For mobile platforms like Gear VR, use subdivision level 2 and reduce textures to 1024 or 2048 pixels. Even with the normal map removed, it looks stunning.
