African Ostrich Capture

African Ostrich Capture

thingiverse

A 123D Catch capture of an African Ostrich resides at the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, with a textured version available at 123dapp.com. The model was created using SLR photography and the desktop version of 123D Catch, followed by Meshmixer for healing and base combination. A lion's capture was hindered by glass, but Meshmixer mirrored the accessible side. To ensure optimal results, maintain the entire subject in focus and shoot sequentially with minimal depth of field. A suggested approach is a 360-degree loop of 20-30 photos at the same zoom level, followed by another from a top-down angle if possible. Avoid moving or rotating the object during photography; place it on a newspaper for best results. Limit uploaded image resolution to 3-6 megapixels, and advise stillness for people in photographs, with closed mouths to prevent muscle movement.
