Afinibot/ Anet Frame Mounting Brackets

Afinibot/ Anet Frame Mounting Brackets

The Afinibot, Anet, and other Prusa clones that have an acrylic frame can flex and lift up in the front during printing. The way to solve this is to get yourself a cheap sheet of wood, and clamp it down on to the wood. This printable design will allow you to 3D print faster and cleaner with greatly decreased flex and resulting vibration in your unit. This is the fourth design iteration of this clips and can be made out of PLA and ABS. They are designed specifically for 2015 iterations of the Afinibot but may work for the Anet, as well as later years of both. The biggest issue I had with Anet mounting brackets, was that the 8mm horizontal frame bolts on the Anet sit a bit shorter so I needed taller brackets. I recommend printing 6 of these clips; 2 for the front, 2 for the middle, 2 for the rear. Don't go crazy tightening them, you will most likely split the ABS/PLA. I do suggest drilling pilot holes into your wood to prevent cracking and splitting the wood.
