Afinia/Up! 2 Plus extruder modification - new working version

After 6+ months of burning non Up!/Afinia ABS and only recently realizing it was being cooked above the recommended temperature range I made the inline "hack" to the temperature control on the nozzle. As I couldn't use the spare parts files as a basis I got the calipers out and totally remade the extruder mount. It came to my attention how hot the stepper motor was after long runs so I wanted to do something more active on the flow of air over the entire piece, not just the small heat sink in the front. Main changes - 1) Changed feeder so tube slots into place 2) "ribs" underneath to allow air/heat to flow from the top of the stepper 3) Area on top for the parts is a bit bigger to accommodate a switch and some extra wiring in the future 4) Sides included so I can hopefully draw air over the parts that get hot 5) Fan at the back will circulate air over the stepper and out holes on the side a few on the front For information - Found 11 ohm resistor worked well for the reprapper bulk filament. No bad smells as it's cooked, bonds well and support broke away better or as good as I've ever seen. Instructions Printed on Up! Used Raft, 0.20mm Z, normal speed. Print the main part standing up, uses a lot of support but has great results. Has 2 possible slide out bottoms and one top at the moment. The top uses 4 small screws. The fan should blow the air into the stepper which then exits out holes and near the heat sink. ** bases will be added a bit later.
