Afinia H480 PLA compatible
thingiverse
When temperatures soar, issues arise with PLA filament delivery. As a result of its ABS design, the filament feeding mechanism's temperature settings become problematic. PLA filaments break at high heat, causing difficulties in extrusion. I opted to cool it down using a blower duct. Installation is straightforward - just snap it into place. When printing this part, I highly recommend using ABS filament. However, removing supports proves to be quite challenging. I've found that trying one support at a time yields the best results. This method only works up to 30 degrees Celsius. If temperatures exceed 30 degrees, additional fans and forced air cooling become necessary.
