The real culprit behind the extruder's malfunction lies in a loose feed connection. After exhausting nearly 10 units, it became crystal clear that this was the root cause of all problems. A complete overhaul ensued. A bearing is essential for rectifying this issue. Its dimensions are precisely defined: an inner diameter of 3 mm, an outer diameter of 7 mm, and a thickness of 3 mm. To secure this bearing in place, M3 - 10 mm screws come into play. Anything longer than that would lead to over-tightening. For guiding the filament, a nylon lock nut (M3) is utilized. However, some modification is necessary before it can serve its intended purpose. The offending corner must be carefully removed using a vise and a file. This precautionary measure ensures that the nut remains firmly in place and does not fall victim to gravity.
