The metal spool mount that comes with the Afinia H+1 is designed specifically to fit a 500g filament spool, but it falls short of accommodating some of the larger 1kg spools available. This oversized spool mounting peg was custom-made to work seamlessly with my 1kg spools, all while ensuring the door on the Afinia H+1 can be closed smoothly and securely.
