This model originated from a recent work project that had me crafting scenes set against the rustic backdrop of Afghan homes and villages. In these traditional structures, a common construction technique is employed: a clay mixture infused with straw - this clever blend yields better insulation than its wood counterpart, which I've aimed to recreate in my Collade model. Native to Cinema 4D, this C4D model comes preset for subdivision rendering. When downloading the file, you'll find it accompanied by two variations: low-res and high-res versions tailored specifically for your scene requirements. Each of these versions can be easily incorporated into your existing work or new projects. I'm proud of how the multi-layer material turned out - utilizing turbulence and bump mapping, it offers a convincingly rugged appearance when bathed in sunlight. The mesh is constructed primarily from quads, facilitating smooth subdivision for refined detail control. The entire model is also editable to accommodate any unique vision you might have for it. Before downloading this Afghanistan/Africa-inspired Collade model, note that while all renderings displayed were done using Cinema 4D, they might not reflect identical results if rendered within other programs. Nonetheless, the mesh and materials I've included will translate remarkably well into your workflow.
