Affordable Rock Tumbler - NEMA17 Version for CNC routing
thingiverse
Almost fully reengineered to create a framework with a CNC router and utilize parts already in hand, including a NEMA motor, 8mm rods for the moving axes, 10mm rods for the structure, HDPE material, and electronic components. * The design employs 8mm rods for the moving axis and 10mm rods for the structural framework. * You can opt to print the framework, but the original version will require less material: * Utilize .stl files for printing and .dxf files for importing into your CNC software. * The frame is constructed from 15mm thick HDPE. * The electronic box is designed specifically to accommodate the parts I have used in my soldering configuration. If you choose to use alternative components, please ensure they are compatible with the motor driver. Additional details, BOM, photos, code, and other resources can be found on my Git repository: https://framagit.org/arofarn/polisseur **EDIT:** A FreeCAD source file has been added. **EDIT2:** A gear protection cover has been incorporated to ensure finger safety.
