The X Carriage Guide was never quite compatible with the original extruder, but after installing an Aerostruder, it really didn't fit at all - it just sat on top. The new setup is much better now, and the extruder fits snugly and flat like it's supposed to be. I'm not sure why Lulzbot would alter the dimensions of the extruder back plate without providing a replacement part or even suggesting that users print one themselves. As far as I can tell, they haven't released any updated designs for the guide, so I decided to create my own instead.
