"AeroSpike" Ender 3 V2 MicroSwiss Direct Drive/Hot end Ducting
thingiverse
I wanted something for the Ender 3 V2 with Micro Swiss Direct Drive that was effective but not over the top. I wanted to upgrade to dual 5015 blowers for part cooling so here we are. The "AeroSpike". This model isn't the easiest to print. It relies pretty heavily on supports. With that in mind, use support blockers to stop it from trying to print supports all the way up the duct. I strongly recommend using PETG since this sits pretty close to the hotend. You can utilize the stock 40mm fan for the heat break if you wish. You'll need some M3 screws for attaching everything together. This way, it stays pretty solid. I had to trim the tabs on my 5015 fans so they would sit all the way down into the duct but your milage may vary. So far, I really like this thing and hope you all do as well.
