Aeropress kcup Adapter
thingiverse
Tired of wrestling with the malfunctioning Keurig machine at work? Still drowning in a sea of K-cups? Sick of sipping your Aeropress coffee while wincing at the mess it leaves behind? Maybe you've been hesitant to ask for what you want, but desperate to make it happen. I'm about to take a risk and seal this up with food-grade polyurethane before I even use it. It'll take about a month for it to fully cure... You're probably thinking that Aeropress and Keurig shouldn't be in the same sentence, but I'm cheap and like my coffee without any chunks or particles floating around. I'm also curious if this will work well for an inverted cold brew cup of coffee. First, I created a "washer" to prevent water from slipping past the K-cup. But after building the adapter and trying it out, I found that it fits snugly and doesn't leak (no washer is installed in these pictures). The adapter also slips into the Aeropress with ease, although I couldn't tighten it all the way. That's probably okay. You'll need to remove the top foil and puncture the bottom of the K-cup, but there are tools on hand to make that process easier...
