Aeropress Compact Travel Case
thingiverse
Hello, I created this storage case for the Aeropress Original, I was inspired by the Aeropress Go - although it's not as compact as the aeropress go but then again the original is must bigger too. It fits in one hand and everything fits nicely within. The original stirring stick is too big and I didn't like it anyway, so I'll soon design a fold-able stirring stick and scoop just like the that comes with the aeropress go. I created a filter case which can store up to 100 or so filters (I think, didn't count it but it is more than enough for a week of coffee). I have purchased a Porlex manual grinder which will also pull apart and fit inside the main press. https://alternativebrewing.com.au/products/porlex-mini-coffee-grinder I printed the main body with PLA, 5 wall layers (because I wanted it thick and strong) with 20% infill (to be honest it doesn't matter about the infill. The lid should be printed using TPU, but if you don't have TPU, you can still print using PLA, I did and it seems fine. Happy Camping.
