Aeronaut Triple - MPX Connector conversion kit
thingiverse
Converting Triple to MPX connectors for the wings is a straightforward process that requires just a few components. Two parts can be inserted into existing holes, serving as guides to draw the cutting line for the new connectors. The larger part should be used for the fuselage, while the smaller one is designed specifically for the wing. The remaining two parts secure the female connector in place. The connector itself is glued into a holder, which can then be attached to the inside of the fuselage using adhesive. Conversely, the male connector is bonded directly to the root rib of the wing. To ensure precise alignment, assemble the wing to the fuselage while the wing connector's glue cures. It is essential to exercise caution when gluing the wing to the fuselage, as this can compromise the integrity of the connection. When printing the connectors, load the STL in the orientation specified and utilize supports for the mounting flange to ensure a secure hold.
