Aeronaut Folding Prop Stop insert
thingiverse
First and foremost, a huge thank you goes out to Noircogi, an RCGroups poster, for his original prop stop idea that sparked my design! For those who want to utilize a folding prop in a pusher configuration, this piece might be just what they need. It's designed to replace two stop plates with a single-piece insert that fits perfectly into an Aeronaut 38mm folding propeller yoke. The main function of these parts is to prevent the blades from extending too far and striking the plane, as well as stopping the blades from crossing each other when folded (over-folding). The advantages of this one-piece insert are numerous: it's lightweight, takes up less space on the propeller shaft, and is much easier to set-up and balance. There are three STL files available for three different prop shaft sizes - 5mm, 6mm, and 8mm. UPDATE #1: I've tweaked the profile a bit to fit a wider range of props. I've also added two inserts for the 42mm Yoke size. UPDATE #2: I've added a new insert that's compatible with 42mm x 5mm size props.
