LANDSHIPS WARGAME Steampork is a tactical table top miniature war game system, designed for both novice and seasoned players. The game is an easy-to-learn system that offers depth, requiring time and experience to master. This 1/300 (6mm) steampunk wargame takes place in the fantastical world of Artrusia, where humans, orcs, and other races engage in fierce battles. A unique feature of this game is that miniatures are designed for printing on 3D printers. Players can purchase files and print as many copies as they desire. Our goal is to leverage new technologies to provide players with more diverse and affordable options for miniatures. We're aware that 3D printing is a relatively new technology, but we're eager to cater to an audience already embracing it. The game was designed around three core principles: You can purchase and download our 3D models. We believe in the potential of 3D printing and encourage players who want to contribute to the game's development to buy and download our models. The miniatures for 3D printing will be included with the corebooks, so stay tuned. The focus should be on the miniatures on the table during gameplay. Miniature gaming is ultimately about enjoying fun and engaging with miniatures. A large background story will be developed, complete with new units, histories, and game scenarios. We invite players to contribute by sending suggestions to improve the game. Our aim is to create a "living lore," where battle reports from our community are incorporated into the game's narrative (see Living Lore section). We have three exciting modules in development: The first module, Landships, covers terrestrial units, including great landships, steam tanks, large steam mechs, robots, and more. The second module focuses on airship combat, featuring flying airships, aerial special units, and fantastical creatures. The third module explores naval combat, with battleships, ironclads, and dreadnaughts at the forefront. The game will feature two main factions: humans and orcs. Additional factions include "Steam Beardies" (dwarves), Lords of Beyond (fantastical creatures from other dimensions), and an alien race similar to HG Wells' Martians, known as The Tripedem.
