Aerofoil Simulation Using Solidworks Flow Simulation
grabcad
In my initial Solidworks Flow Simulation experiment, I utilized data from the site http://m-selig.ae.illinois.edu/ads/coord_database.html#T for an UA(2)-180 (smoothed) airfoil, designed for ultralight aircraft. Using default conditions - 1 bar pressure, 25°C temperature, 25% relative humidity, and simulating air flow at 500 m/s velocity in the X direction - I examined mach number and static pressure distribution as outputs, adjusting some pre-set wizard settings.
