Aerobar mount for handlebar light

thingiverse

This is a specialized mounting system designed to accommodate both bike GPS units and Exposure Lights on Profile Design T3+ aerobars. It offers the convenience of saving handlebar space while providing a symmetrical light beam. The design aims to be sturdy, with minimal vibrations, yet remains reasonably aero and lightweight, weighing in at 75g without screws. This makes it an ideal choice for riders who value both performance and functionality. This mounting system is specifically designed for Exposure Lights but can also accommodate other handlebar lights. Similarly, while it's optimized for Garmin 1030 units, it may also fit additional GPS devices. To assemble the mount, a few precautions are necessary: eight stainless steel screws (4mm) and nuts are required, as well as a GPS mount (such as those designed for Garmin). The GPS mount can be securely attached using screws or adhesive at the designated location on the mount. For optimal results, printing with PETG is highly recommended. During testing, the system proved capable of supporting a heavy and large Toro light, weighing in at 236g.
