This is the beginning of a new design, a strap-on aero bottle holder, V1 is ready for action but will likely undergo revisions and requests for modifications. Stay tuned for updates...\r\n\r\nThis design is specifically tailored for a Dengfu Bike but should fit many different aero seat posts with ease. I highly recommend adding some chafe guard to any accessory you strap onto a carbon post to prevent damage, both cosmetic and otherwise.\r\n\r\nThe design utilizes two stainless hose clamps to secure the seat post, which I suggest wrapping with electrical tape, an old tube section, or bar tape for added cushioning and protection of the carbon. Tighten the clamps only until they're snug and don't move easily to avoid over-tightening damage.\r\n\r\nThe Co2 screw threads into the bottom of the holder, which may be challenging the first time around but can be facilitated with a 3/8-24 tap. Once the threads are formed, however, you should experience no issues.\r\n\r\nTire tubes can be strapped to either the top or bottom of the bracket using Velcro straps. I prefer placing my inflator and quick sticks in the middle of the tube and securing them with a bit of electrical tape for added convenience. This also comes in handy if you encounter a tire tear, allowing you to patch it from inside and limp home safely.\r\n\r\nLastly, a can on a pit stop can be secured with Velcro right in front of the water bottle holder, minimizing drag to an absolute minimum.
