Aero Seat Post Adapter

If you own an aero frame bike, chances are you've encountered difficulties keeping lights and other accessories attached to the seat post. I created this adapter specifically to securely hold my rear light and a mountain bike rear mudguard in place. It transforms the 5mm radius thin end of the post into a 22mm diameter, preventing my attachments from shifting sideways - not too much of an issue with my moon taillight, but essential for the mudguard. I designed it to be printed using vase mode, which produces a remarkably light and strong piece with an excellent finish. However, you can also slice it in the conventional way if you prefer. When printing in vase mode, it's recommended that the open end be secured to prevent twisting and collapse. To this end, I've included an end cap that should be superglued to the open end of the adapter. For added strength, squeeze a few drops of superglue into the cavity before gluing on the end. Multiple versions are available: a short (25mm) and long (37mm), as well as a 25mm model with a strengthening flange that eliminates the need for an end cap. This version is useful if your attachment needs to sit directly against the seat post.
