I required a corner mount for my Aeotec Multisensor 6, so I redesigned this flat-faced enclosure to suit my needs. The recessor remains firmly in place due to friction alone and is incredibly stable without being excessively tightened. This design doesn't necessitate any additional supports, but the faceplate does require some backing to ensure it stays securely attached.
