The locomotive was built in 1928 by AEG (Berlin) and was slightly modified by the 'Ateliers Mécaniques Dommeldange' . It was roughly used at the ARBED-works in Dudelange (Luxembourg) until the blast furnaces were shut off in the 80ies. Essentially used for towing slag cars to their destination, either at the slag crusher or dumping at the slag heap.
