ADXL345 mounts for Monoprice Select Mini (MPSM)
thingiverse
Mounts for ADXL345 accelerometer for resonance calibration in klipper. This will fit the blue 8 pin adxl345 module that can be found for a few dollars on ebay. The calibration process is a one and done process unless you make very major changes to the printer, so temporarily replacing the hotend fan with the sensor shouldn't be an issue. In fact, I advice against running the process often, it will shake loose the screws that hold your printer together. The process can be run individually for the x and y axis, so only one adxl module is required. I don't have the original hotend mount, but the adxl mount should screw into any mount that has a 30mm fan. I suggest printing at least 30% infill, you want these mounts to resist the shaking as much as possible so the results are not distorted. Instructions on how to run the calibration process: https://www.klipper3d.org/Measuring_Resonances.html I have attached the generated graphs from my printer that show the measured resonances and the proposed corrected levels (sky blue line). I don't suggest it, but if you want to try out my settings while you wait for your adxl to arrive, here they are: [input_shaper] shaper_freq_x: 68.4 shaper_type_x: 2hump_ei shaper_freq_y: 42.8 shaper_type_y: mzv Freecad design file included.
