ADXL345 Mount for Hemera (for auto calibrating Input Shaper)
thingiverse
Simple ADXL345 mount that I designed for an e3d Hemera, for the purpose of running input shaper to remove resonance (ghosting) artifacts. Open SCAD file is included if you need to make adjustments (please remix if you do). Materials needed: * ADXL345 Sensor. I bought a 3 pack on Amazon for $11. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HLP1MPY/ * 2 M3x4mm Socket Head Screws * 1 M3x8 Socket Head Screw, + washer (.8-1mm) * Dupont Female Wires. I cut 6x female pin headers in half, soldered with a 26 awg to lengthen the wire, and connected the ADXL345 and Rasp Pi as per the instructions) https://www.amazon.com/EDGELEC-Breadboard-1pin-1pin-Connector-Multicolored/dp/B07GD312VG/ Mount the ADXL345 with the two m3x4mm screws. It will be close to the SMD components but if your screw hole spacing is correct, they should fit fine. Double check that it's not touching any of the solder after tightening- you don't want to short out your components. Adjust the screw_pos_1 with Customizer and reprint if your screws won't fit right. (I'd recommend in increments of + or - .25mm) Once you have mounted the AXL345 follow the instructions here for wiring and then configuring Klipper: https://www.klipper3d.org/Measuring_Resonances.html#input-shaper-auto-calibration
