ADXL345 Mount

This mount is designed or attaching the ADXL345 accelerometer to a heatblock instead of a nozzle. The mount fits a regular E3Dv6 heatblock, yet it was designed for Flying Bear Ghost 4S/5 printers and uses the dimensions of the heatblock and spare M6 screw that came with those printers. It was inspired by the mount I saw on Klipper Discord. The mount has guides with 16mm distance between to help position it on the heatblock. ###PROS: * accuracy: the accelerometer is positioned at the point where the tip of the nozzle is usually located ###CONS: * risk of improper extruder reassembly back to normal which can lead to clogging of the filament There are two options: a model for using brass inserts and a model for screwing directly into plastic. ##You will need: - one ADXL345 accelerometer - one M6x8mm screw - two M3x8mm screws - two M3 plastic washers OD = 6mm (can be printed) - optionally two M3 brass inserts (like [these](https://aliexpress.ru/item/33008141694.html)) with OD = 4mm and up to 5 mm length # CAUTION! >Remember to trigger the Z-endstop manually when homing before the accelerometer hits the bed, otherwise your printer may be damaged. Or you can print something like this [z-knob](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4654879) Print with 4 walls and infill > 30% # UPDATE: 2021-08-31 - added guides for positioning on the heatblock and cutouts for the M6 hole so that the slicer can print it with bridges due to the new positioning on the printbed
