ADXL-345 Ender 3 Extruder Mount
thingiverse
Introducing the Acceleration Sensor Mount for Ender 3 with ADXL-345 or GY-521 (MPU 6050) compatibility, specifically designed for Klipper's input shaping technology. This 3D-printable mount seamlessly integrates with your Ender 3 Hotend and will hold on the Extruder without screws. If you wish i added some screw holes for some M3 screws. The sensor needs to be screwed with M3 to the mount. The Acceleration Sensor Mount ensures secure placement of the ADXL-345 / GY-521 (MPU 6050) or similar sensors, allowing for precise monitoring and feedback of accelerations. For my MPU 6050 I had to use the Y axis while meassuring due to the orientation. This may vary depending on your Board. For more information on that check some guides or the Klipper page : https://www.klipper3d.org/Measuring_Resonances.htmlOne issue i found is the right screw for tightening the GY-521 (MPU 6050) to the mount. If you use a wide screw there it will crush your capacitor. The board will be held secure by just 1 screw. It is possible to replace the capacitor (1µF) but it's best to keep it simple. No supports needed when printing!
