Adventure Force Spectrum Switch Plate
thingiverse
Like many modders before me I wanted a cleaner solution to mount a microswitch in a flywheel blaster. Usually you have to set it in there with messy glue or epoxy. This can be very tedious and annoying. That is why I designed this switch plate for the Adventure Force Spectrum. This plate is designed so that you can drop it into the grip and screw on a 21A microswitch using two #4 3/4" pan-head sheet metal screws. You can choose to glue in the switch plate but I find the friction fit is good enough to hold it. You will need to trim material on both sides of the shell in order for the switch to fit. I will make a video showing how to do this although it's not hard. You will also need to trim the metal lever on the switch so that it doesn't interfere with the rev trigger's return spring. I added a wire channel so that you can run your wires underneath the switch plate if you choose. Installation guide: https://youtu.be/c8VvJr8uMAE Don't have a printer? You can buy this plate and a LiPo Battery Tray from my Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/890742622/spectrum-switch-plate-battery-tray-for?ref=shop_home_feat_2 Here's the switch I used: https://outofdarts.com/collections/electronics/products/21a-microswitch-genuine-omron-v-212-1c6-spdt
