Adventure Force Double Trouble Mag Adapter
thingiverse
This adapter is designed to fit snugly into the space typically occupied by drums, with the added benefit of being removable. To modify a blaster for compatibility, you'll need to make two key adjustments: remove the orange dart stop tab situated in front of the flywheel cage and upgrade the return spring on the pusher arm. This latter modification will necessitate the spring retraction while under tension from a Nerf magazine's force. First, print the adapter module, then discard any extraneous pieces. Next, print the actual magazine holder halves and locking tab, and assemble them together as desired using glue or screws. Once complete, secure the magazine holder assembly into the adapter module, utilizing a magazine as a guide for precision placement. The magazine halves have been remixed from an earlier Thingiverse post and employ M3 bolts for attachment. To ensure proper function, the magazine release tab will require a small spring to facilitate smooth operation. UPDATE: The Adapter module file has been revised to accommodate left-handed use, but this modification necessitates the removal of the drum advancing tab, as its presence would otherwise obstruct the use of a magazine in that orientation.
