Seal Blowout Guard for Nexus Pro The Nexus Pro has an unusual telescoping gas tube in its breech system when modded for a tighter barrel seal and powerful spring, sometimes this telescoping piece will overextend (blowout) and leak air. Placing this 3d printed block around it should prevent it from moving forward under pressure -Warning, FDM printing has questionable dimensional accuracy with Curves. If the inside curve that braces against the gas tube is too loose, it may be ineffective, too tight and it may interfere with function. Dimensional Accuracy settings in your Slicer may need fine tuning. -UPDATE: added plus1, plus2,etc variants to allow adjustment/compensation for tolerance. (sets position +1mm, +2mm more forward) The telescoping tube needs some small forward motion to compress the o-rings for a good seal; but not so much motion that they protrude and leak +2 seems to work well for me. will vary based on printer, settings, filament, etc. THEORIES: the Aeon Pro, has a shoulder built into the gas tube that prevents blowout. ?Will future production runs of the Nexus Pro incorporate this better design?
