Advanced Heroquest Flooring
thingiverse
I loved Advanced Heroquest as a kid and I'm now working on recreating the game. The original game's rooms and corridors were 2x5, 5x5, and 5x10 feet in size, so I remixed existing floor tiles from devonjones to fit my needs. However, these tiles are not directly compatible with the original Advanced Heroquest tiles due to differences in individual tile size and thickness. I've included only the surfaces and those with an OpenLock style base, allowing you to print them without supports if you invert them on your print bed. I recommend using a raft to avoid the bed-sheen effect on the surface of the tiles. You'll also find pegs that I used in the game and some images showing how they fit into the tiles. If you're interested in playing Advanced Heroquest, whether you're rediscovering it or new to the game, I suggest checking out enhancedadvancedheroquest.blogspot.com for downloads. On 9/9/19, I updated the 2x1 complete floor STL file as I had made an error in the positioning of the OpenLock system, which is now corrected. On 21/11/19, I created a storage system for this flooring if you're using the peg system provided at thingiverse.com/thing:3991975.
