The pcb is attached to the case pieces by epoxy or hot melt glue. If you sent me a note when ordering, I can send you the pcb and case pieces separately, so you don't need to take them apart. I can even remove the leds if you want. Please note: This version of the case does not contain the same regulatory markings (CE and WEEE) as the regular product ships with.
