Adustable Z Endstop trigger (quick solution before printing something more permanent)
thingiverse
The rewritten text is: Originally, I attended a 3D printing course at FH Kiel where we used sheet metal for opto-endstops. Adjustments were difficult and sheet metal damaged wire insulation due to tangling. A current version allows adjustment of position and stopping point, previously using a ballpen spring but now works with an M4 screw and nut. The holders are fixed with M4 screws and the round part attaches to a Mendel-Variant's M8 screw on its chasis. Note that cellphone pictures may not be clear in close-ups. Recently, I edited the parts for printability without support. However, the screw holder would benefit from support material due to messy printing. The angle was not increased to prevent insufficient screw holding. Please refer to the picture for functioning details.
