Adult Human Anatomy 2 - CT Scan
prusaprinters
These models were extracted from a CT scan I had recently (Age 21) that could be useful to teach human anatomy. I thought it was quite an interesting project to extract the 3D models from the CT scan data. Not all of the models in this set are 3D printable via FDM, but I think a significant portion should be given you support it properly. My previous CT Scan was taken before a gallbladder surgery and so this one no longer has the gallbladder in it. In addition, this CT scan also focuses on a different subject, the colon, due to my Crohn's Disease (I'll be having it removed soon). It should be noted that the colon is inflamed and has a stricture as a result. This scan was also taken just a day after I started a medication called Rinvoq (upadacitinib). All models are 1:1 scale, directly extracted from the scan. The models were made using a software called 3D Slicer with the aid of an add-in called Total Segmentator which extracted the 3D model data from the CT scan data fed to it in DICOM format. All models were smoothed and cleaned up to remove any small islands.3D Slicer: https://www.slicer.org/
