FlightAware ADS-B Antenna for capturing 1090 MHz aircraft data. Use 2mm copper wire inside the cleft and push RG316 cable through the 3mm hole, then solder the feeder to the long wire and shield to the short wire. Fill the cleft with hot melt or glue to secure the wires in place. Enjoy experimenting. I've compared this J-pole antenna to a compact omnidirectional antenna and noticed 20% improved coverage with the J-Pole.
