Admiral O'Hare and Private Fryan #TinkercadEaster
myminifactory
This is Admiral O'Hare in his tank along with Scout Private Fryan in his jeep. As a team, they are solely responsible for hiding Easter eggs. My printer decided to under-extrude when printing this model, resulting in some wobbly lines. The tolerances are actually quite tight. Some minor adjustments may be needed to the hinges, which I designed to fit a small piece of filament. The barrel and pin for the Admiral might be a bit stiff as well. I bent the hinge pins for this model but planned to use a hot knife blade to melt them slightly. This model should print at 100% on a 150 mm bed. I printed mine with the open side down, which worked out well. The jeep prints exactly like it sits, and the Admiral and barrel shroud print just as they appear in the Tinker Cad pictures. The Admiral has a square hole that fits over a pin on top of the tank, while the barrel shroud simply slips onto the barrel, keeping the tank closed tightly. Although my model may look loose in some areas, those gaps are actually quite narrow. I tried uploading this to Tinker Cad for three days but failed every time, despite trying four different Wi-Fi spots and my phone's hotspot. Eventually, I was able to get it uploaded this way. This entire model is made from scratch using Tinker Cad. I'm making it public so others can see it. At 46 years old, I'm brand new to all of this and completely hooked after creating this first real model.
