We are huge fans of Star Wars. We're heartbroken to hear about Erik Bauserfeld's passing, the talented voice actor behind Admiral Ackbar and his iconic phrase 'It's a trap.' To pay tribute to his incredible work, we decided to remix this model from scratch. The original file was plagued with overlapping and non-manifold issues that needed fixing. Luckily, we were able to repair it using makeprintable, and our Flash Forge 3D printer handled the printing process like a pro. We based our remix on Kip V's (IronFace) design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27856/#remixes, which was originally remixed by Robby Flechas (irobzu): http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:722121. Here are the print settings we used: * Printer: Flashforge Creator * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Infill: 15% * Notes: We gave our model a metallic makeover using gold and silver paint spray, adding an extra touch of detail to this Star Wars-inspired masterpiece.
